I am a designer and maker of contemporary jewellery, objects, wearable sculpture and art.

I am driven by creativity, it keeps me afloat.

I love to take the time to explore and be inspired by the natural.

I experiment with unusual, unorthodox materials, pairing plastics, paint and found objects with more traditional materials such as sterling silver.

The Design Centre, Enmore, Sydney, NSW nurtured me for three years, I graduated in 2008 from the advanced diploma of jewellery and object design.

Newtown Film Festival 2012 Comission.

A few months back I was approached by Martin Kelly, director of Newtown Flicks Short Film Festival to design and make the trophies for 2012’s award ceremony.

Last years trophies were made by local Sydney glass artist Lisa Cahil and 2009’s trophies were hand crafted by Newtown based wire artist Cath Inglis.

Using the Newtown Flicks logo, ‘Norbert’ the head and keeping within current work themes, I have designed the trophies to be made out of old cinema and film books… yes, paper. I have begun work painstakingly glueing the hundreds of pages together with PVA wood glue to create solid billets that the trophies will be cut out of. Following is a sneak peak of what’s to come.
